2022 Trophy Winners
SPECIAL AWARDS
LUKE LANGE – Elliott Cup (Most Promising Junior) Luke was a deserving winner of this prestigious trophy after showing great improvement in his game and his character and attitude he showed on and off the course. His selection into the Wellington Junior development squad was another acknowledgment of that.
JAMES CRAWLEY – Elliott Award (Most Improved Junior) James was the obvious choice for this award after only starting golf this year and cutting his handicap from 28.3 in May to the 11 handicap he is now on! Alongside Allan Carroll he won the Jameson Cup and his name will surely feature on more trophies next year.
JAMIE FREW – Bob Mcdonald Trophy (Best Under 19 Gross on Club Day) Jamie’s personal best score of 68 in January meant he got to take home this trophy for another year. Jamie also collected an award for the Best Junior Nett on Club day courtesy of this round.
SAM FORRESTER – Forrester Cup (Player of the year) The Forrester Cup is played throughout the year with points being awarded for a host of competitions. Sam won this for the 6th time since its inception in 2010 with Dave Cook finishing 2nd on the points ladder.
