Course
The course is open for play seven days a week throughout the year, and is managed
by Robin Macklin along with Wade Gallon, plus volunteers from within the Club, who
present the course to its best advantage.
Club
Masterton Golf Club is run by a Board of Management, established in 1997, to ensure
the longevity of the Club and this has proved to be a positive development.
While the Golf Club employs professional staff in all facets of its operation, it also
relies on volunteer help from our members. Being a Club Volunteer is a great way to
see how the Club operates, and is a great way to meet other members. Those wishing
to volunteer in any area of the club can contact the office to register interest.
The Club bar is open from 4.00pm to 6.30pm Thursdays and Saturdays, and other
times as required. The café is open to suit our various daily events. It can be used for
private functions. Just ask the office for more informaton.
All Teed Up Pro Shop
Masterton Golf Club is fortunate to have the only fully equipped Pro Shop in the
Wairarapa – All Teed Up – run by NZPGA Professional Shaun Hewitt, assisted by
NZPGA Professional Joel Macklin.
All Teed Up offers a full range of golfing gear as well as offering club fitting and
coaching, and hire gear.
Lessons can be booked through the shop – 06 377 4984 ext1.
How do I get a handicap?
To play in any club competition you will need an NZGA handicap. To get a handicap
you need to complete 5 rounds of 18 holes of golf and hand a card in each time. A
card can be from any golf club in New Zealand but must be marked with the Club’s ID
– 251 – and your personal four digit number which you will get upon joining.
