Yet another Wednesday evening with inclement weather and this was reflected in a modest turnout of 30 players for the TRC Toyota Twilight tournament. But at least we were out there playing and to date we have not had to cancel any evenings play which is unusual.
Plenty of fun was had by those attending and Kevin Burden and Jan Williams carried the night with 23 and 20 pts respectively. The Wairarapa Funeral Services longest drives were hit by Russell Stewart and Jo Bird with Pam Griffith getting closest to the pin for an All Teed Up Ball.
There are still 8 nights of Twilight golf left which puts us halfway through our season already. But it is never to late to come along and enjoy an evening hit out.
