Less than a two-hour drive from Wellington, Masterton Golf Club makes a great day trip. With a fully stocked Pro Shop and the Brownbutter Café on site, we’re a true golfer’s destination.
Visitors are always welcome. The Pro Shop is open Monday to Sunday, 8.30am–5pm. The Brownbutter Café is open Thursday to Sunday, serving coffee, baking, and blackboard lunches, and our bar is open Thursday to Sunday for a drink after your round.
Whether you are an affiliated member of another club, a group looking for a day out, or simply passing through the Wairarapa, we would be glad to welcome you to our course.
While tee bookings are not always necessary, it is worth calling the Pro Shop for weekend times and during the summer months to make sure you can tee off.
Electric carts, club sets, and trundlers are all available to hire through the Pro Shop. We recommend booking ahead, especially for carts, as numbers are limited. Anyone hiring a cart signs a short cart hire agreement and must hold a current driver’s licence. Visit the Pro Shop page for current hire rates and to arrange your gear before you play.
We hold reciprocal arrangements with a number of clubs — if your club has an agreement with us, please mention it when booking so we can confirm your green fee rate.

Masterton Golf Club is at 1 Boltons Road, Lansdowne, a short drive from central Masterton and just over an hour from Wellington. There is plenty of on-site parking available directly at the clubhouse.
