While Mike Dixon is swanning around in Australia we have had a b it of a mixed week. The weather forecasts seem to prophesy rain most days, but generally the days have been good for golf. The scores are pretty normal for this time of year when the ground is heavy with little run.
The results for the week are:
Wednesday 9 Holers: Eleven players in the field. Jane Watts was the winner with 38 stablefords with Lorraine Jones runner up with 33. Di Herbert won the PGG Wrightson Longest Drive.
Today the 9 holers are playing at Riversdale.

21 women played on a beautiful day, unfortunately they did not take advantage of the good conditions.
Riverside Cup was played on Friday against Eketahuna with a 3 all to both teams, but overall Featherston came out the winners one point ahead of Masterton.
Final Word
On Friday the Sports Education Trust held its Ambrose Tournament at Lansdowne. As it was a fine day 96 players entered. The winning teams were:
