The Quilters Lane Nearest the Pin on No 8 was Cindy Giles and No 18, Jan Williams.

The New World Thursday competition saw some bitterly cold showers late in the round decimate the sizeable field and make the final results a lottery as it was difficult for the pro shop to determine who had actually completed the full round, and who had ‘bailed out’ and calculated their last few holes. However John Dalziell certainly completed his round for 41 points and first place, Ewen Macdonald came second with 38 from John Cunningham, also on 38, and Rob Blackett, Jamie Brunton and Mike Dixon were 4th on 37.

The All Teed Up Nearest the Pin was Derek Clarkson.
