Course Spray Information

Information for neighbours about spraying at Masterton Golf Club.

As part of managing our course, we periodically spray a range of agrichemicals across the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and boundary lines. As our neighbour, you have the right to ask us to make our spray plan available to you at any time.

Agrichemical spraying is a permitted activity under the Greater Wellington Regional Air Plan, provided we follow the conditions set out in that plan. This means the activity itself cannot be stopped, but we take our responsibilities under the plan seriously and aim to minimise any impact on neighbouring properties.

  • Spray Plan — what we spray, where, when, and the safeguards we apply.
  • Spray Diary — a record of every spray application carried out on the course, including active re-entry periods.
  • Chemical & Hazardous Substances Inventory — the full list of agrichemicals we hold on site, along with hazard information.

If you would like to be notified before any spray application near your property, or if you have any concerns, please contact us on (06) 377 4984 or admin@mastertongolfclub.co.nz. We are always happy to talk.

Thank you for your understanding.

XXX XXXX, Head Greenkeeper, Masterton Golf Club
