Masterton Golf Club

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This annual tournament is held on Waitangi Day, and is sponsored by the generous donation of life member, Margaret Wallace.  (Margaret’s daughter, Rosie Laffey, administers the sponsorship on her behalf.)  The format is mixed drawn partners, combined stableford.

This year, 16 mixed pairs and 4 men’s pairs teed off at midday in warm, windy, and thankfully somewhat overcast conditions.  There was some very good scoring.

1^st:  Brenda Blatchford and Jamie Brunton, 83 points

2^nd: Liz Armstrong and Jeff Ogg, 82

3^rd: Ngaire Stevens and Ray Verhaart, 81
