Our Handicap singles winners were Jeff Ogg, Allan Carroll, Ray Verhaart, Mike Dixon, Murray Wolland, Harry Quinn, Trevor Smith and Steve Hemingway. The players of the day were Steve Hemingway who walked off the course with a 9 up victory and Jeff Ogg returned the top Stableford score of the day and won 6 ProV1’s because there were no two’s registered in the Two’s competition.
A special mention of our Junior four. They did not lose a match of either singles or four-ball. That’s 10 matches with 6 wins and 4 halves.
The next round is at Martinborough on 13 June where we fight against Mahunga for Masterton townships golf bragging rights.
