2026 ROTHBURY INSURANCE MASTERTON GOLF CLUB PRO-AM

Welcome to the 2026 Rothbury Insurance Masterton Golf Club Pro-Am. Now in its third year at Masterton, this tournament gives amateurs a unique chance to play with pros and network in a relaxed setting.

ENTRY OPTIONS & REGISTRATION

The 2026 Pro-Am is open to 24 teams on a first in first served basis.

*entry includes: on-course refreshments (bbq and water), entry to the shootout on No.8 and finger food at prizegiving (all alcohol must be purchased).

FORMAT/DETAILS

The first 24 fully paid up teams will be accepted.
Open to members and non members.
Max handicap on the day is 30 for men and 36 for women.
Team prizes are scored on the best 3 out of 4 stableford points on each hole by the team.
Professionals compete separately, and as part of their amateur team.
18 hole stroke play for the professionals followed by a 5 hole shootout for the top 6 pros.
18 hole team event for the amateurs including prizes.

PROGRAMME

THURSDAY 22 JANUARY:

6.00pm: Pro Draw – attendance optional

FRIDAY 23 JANUARY:

9.00am: Team registration.
10.00am: Shotgun start. Refreshments available on course.
approx 4.00pm: PGG Wrightsons Shootout final at completion of round.
5.00pm onwards: Prizegiving, finger food etc.
